An ISO 9001:2000 and AS9100B compliant company, General Dynamics Robotic Systems (GDRS) has been continuously certified since December, 1995 (Certificate # 95-501d). GDRS was one of the first companies to upgrade to the revised ISO 9001-2000 standard, achieved in December 2001, and was certified to AS9100B in 2007. Our Quality System is well established and maintains a system of process controls and documented procedures, ensuring effectiveness and success in all areas. Every employee shares in the responsibility of meeting the Quality System goals. We take great pride in maintaining our system and striving for continuous improvement.

GDRS employs three CMMs linked on line to a common workstation, for flexibility and system communications, utilizing PCDMIS 3.7 MR 2, one of the most powerful offline CAD programmable software applications available on the market.. The Giddings and Lewis is the largest with a 48” x 80” x 40” working envelope, the Brown & Sharpe is a smaller DCC unit (25”x 39”x16”). Both machines are also equipped with Datapage software, which offers direct support to real time measurement. Our Mitutoyo manual CMM also has PCDMIS 3.7 software, allowing it to interface with the other DCC machines through the common workstation.
