Robotics
Capabilities
GDRS is the recognized leader in the design
and fielding of robotic systems for tactical
use, and has designed and built every mid-size
(500 to 4,000 lb) tactical robotic platform
field-tested by the Department of Defense services
over the last 18 years. In addition, GDRS has ported
to much larger platforms, such as TARDEC's Vetronics
Technology Integration (VTI) Robotic Follower
18-ton Stryker, the autonomous mobility systems developed
for and tested on the lighter platforms.
In setting the vision for robots as co-combatants,
our experience has led us to focus on the development
of critical autonomous mobility technologies
that provide significant capabilities to the
current and future force:
Intelligent Control Architectures and Tactical
Behaviors
- Scalable Warfighter-Machine Interfaces
- Integrated command, control, and communicate
capabilities
- Advanced perception sensor suites and algorithms
for move/look/shoot skills
- Air/Ground collaborative operations
- Multi-vehicle coordination
These capabilities are the building blocks of
essential technologies in many arenas and for
a variety of government and commercial efforts.
Every day GDRS is engineering the technologies
of tomorrow.
