Staff: Integrated, Automated Command and Control
To reduce the workload associated with controlling
robots, General Dynamics Robotic Systems (GDRS)
is automating command and control tasks.
The GDRS integrated C2 system provides:
- Execution-centric
decision support focusing on small team operations
- Planning,
situational awareness, execution monitoring,
and reporting automation
- Integrated information
system, vehicle management, mission management
systems, as well as command and control of
unmanned systems using open architecture
Acting as a virtual staff to the Soldier, the
GDRS system provides the planning mechanism required
for managing unmanned systems.
We have integrated our first generation of the
automated C2 system into tablet-sized and HMMWV-mounted
Warfighter-Machine Interfaces for testing and
demonstration. |
