and Integration
 From concept to prototype, General Dynamics
Robotic Systems (GDRS) utilizes various stages
of extensive experimentation and integration
to meet the goals of rapid technology development,
Soldier experimentation, and early transition
into military acquisition programs.
First, our researchers test proof-of-concept
using commercial off-the-shelf hardware. Next,
solutions that show promise are simulated using
our Systems Integration Laboratory (SIL).
Sensor
and planning solutions that require real world
inputs are tested on the GDRS Train facility
where data collection can be done in a controlled
manner.
The final stage includes integration and testing
on the Demo III XUV in rolling and forested terrains,
as well as MOUT environments at Fort Indiantown
Gap, PA.
